About Us

If anyone would have said to me "Sue in 20 years you will be overweight, have high blood pressure and be told you are at a high risk for heart disease" I would have told them they were so wrong. You see Tom and I are victims of the construction way of life. You rise early, down a pot of coffee and are out the door before dawn. Not stopping to eat as little as a piece of fruit or toast. Off to a typical construction project of another roadway, bridge, dam, runway etc. working 12 to 15 hours per day. And because you are on that typical construction time zone, but what else then fast food for lunch. At days end, being too tired to cook, you run by and grab something on the way home for dinner. And this is not one or two days a week but rather six to seven. Weeks on end, for 15 + years. Being young, we both could not forsee or even imagine that someday "Life would and does catch up".

Finding our selves transplanted in Chicago. For yet another large project, 1000 miles from our home and beautiful Colorado, we made a conscience decision that this was not where we wanted to be. SO in July of 2008, in our 50's, we left the only life that had come to know for so long and headed HOME. Upon arriving we tried to combine two households. One from Chicago and one in Colorado. Anyone need any extra household goods? I am sure we have it. Tom says I save everything. Anyway, we both had physicals and found that while we were building highways and byways, not to mention a bunch of money, we were also spiraling downward health wise. Not something we needed or counted on. Might I mention that Tom had already had a five way by-pass.

The doctor welcomed us home with not one but two prescriptions for high blood pressure and high cholesterol for Tom and high blood pressure for me. And Oh yeah, HRT meds for me cause now the infamous "mental pause" was among us. Our comment to each other, on a very quiet ride home, so much for "FEELING FINE IN 2009".

Re-adjusting to our new way of life. Tom lays out our meds. One for you, and one for me. Then one day a friend and colleague, John Herman, who has this unstoppable energy and optimism, shares this product called Vivix. Tells me we have the power to take control of not only our health but our lives.

The results have just been astounding. Our energy level has increased with such intensity. And our mental conscience alertness doubled.

Take a look for yourself at the entire Shaklee line and what they have to offer.

We do believe we all have a choice to make for ourselves and our planet to be the best we can possibly be.

Here's to "FEELING FINE IN 2009".

Healthy regards,

Sue and Tom Holfert
